Overview:

SpeakHDL_Client.exe is a distributed software application that is used to add FPGA configuration voice command capability to an existing text editor. The the application is designed for ease of use when getting started with designing FPGAs using our custom VHDL library. SpeakHDL_Client.exe utilizes a speech recognition engine then on the users local machine, then forwards successful commands with a remote SpeakHDL sever for processing before updating the users VHDL file in the text editor.

To complete an FPGA design, the VHDL files created with SpeakHDL along with our custom VHDL library are used as the input files to a 3rd party FPGA Compilation, Simulation and Synthesis is tool chain.

2. Notepad ++ 7.9.5 :    Text Editor to be used with SpeakHDL_Client.exe
3. Xilinx Vivado :  FPGA Compilation, Simulation and Synthesis Tool Chain that utilizes our custom VHDL library and user generated VHDL files
